Donati discovered his passion for the art of perfumery through his marriage to the last heiress of the historic French perfumery house, Houbigant. Alove that led him to the acquisition of the brand following the divorce.

At the birth of his daughter Alyssa, Donati dedicated a perfumery line to her, Alyssa Ashley, by Houbigant, whose identity was so strong that he later became a brand himself. A brand born from the union of two art forms; the figurative and the perfumery art.

Alyssa Ashley was born and developed as a Master in Perfumery, during an era of rebellion, where words like independence, female emancipation, freedom, guided entire generations.

These themes are as relevant today as they were then, which is why Alyssa, today just as it was then, is a brand linked to intense transgression, such as the acceptance of individual differences, the right to distinguish oneself and to strongly convey one's personality.

Each fragrance conveys a story, an emotion through its scent, and tells something about the person who wears it. Just as when you are in front of a work of art, perfume arouses emotions that cannot be explained by reason.

We have therefore chosen famous works and artists to represent our creations, in an attempt to visually express the emotions they arouse in us.

Emotions, memories and excitement: it all comes through the sense of smell, the oldest and most powerful of our senses. The one that guides us at all times.

Through the 'perfect sense' we can perceive danger from a distance, or on the contrary let it guide us to our desired destination...

A simple smell can trigger a cascade of feelings. It makes our imagination run wild and, in an instant, is able to transport us to a faraway place and another time.

Our smell says many things about us, even before we are seen. We can make others feel who we are, our state of mind, and our mood, through the trail of our scent.
