The rose, celebrated by poets and writers for ages, is a key flower in perfumery, specifically Rosa Damascena from Bulgaria and Turkey, and Rosa Centifolia from southern France and Morocco. These roses produce different scents due to their complex composition of over 400 odorous molecules. Rosa Centifolia offers a fresh, clean aroma, while Rosa Damascena has a spicier scent with Carnation-like notes. For this blend, the spicier Rosa Damascena was chosen to merge the rose's elegance and character with the sensuality and instinct of Musk.
