Welcome to the world of flowery - fruity - gourmand. Well yes, although the fizzy fragrance, as its name suggests, evokes lightness and light-heartedness, being able to describe its olfactory family is a bit more complicated. The different facets that characterize it do not allow me to place it under a specific family. Immediately, in fact, vanilla gourmand notes, flowery notes of lily of the valley and notes of red fruits are evident. The first house to create a flowery non-monoflore perfume, but still inspired by a bouquet, was the Houbigant house in 1912 with the original Quelquefleur, while the first to introduce a fruity note was Guerlain in 1919 with Mitsouko, the first chype with peach fruity notes. Since then these two olfactory families have often met to share with the history of perfume unforgettable masterpieces such as Houbigant with its Quelquefleur Royal. The fruity notes bring a touch of freshness to the classic floral notes, softening the animalized sides, making the perfume not as strong. By the way, did you know that no fruity note other than citrus could be extracted naturally from the fruit itself? In fact, the fruit does not contain oil, which is why when its scents wants to be reproduced it can either be done by chemical reconstruction, or by using flowers that have fruity facets in their notes. This happened when Houbigant used osmanthus, a small Japanese flower with delicious apricot shades, in the formulation of Quelquefleur royal. Da quel momento queste due famiglie olfattive si sono spesso incontrate per donare alla storia del profumo capolavori indimenticabili come nuovamente Houbigant con il suo Quelques Fleurs Royale. Le note fruttate apportano un tocco di freschezza alle note classiche fiorite, addolcendo le sfaccettature animalizzate, e rendendo il profumo (lasciatemi passare l'espressione) meno imponente. A proposito, lo sapevi che nessuna nota fruttata che non sia un agrume può essere estratta in maniera naturale dal frutto stesso? Infatti la frutta non contiene olio, per questo quando il suo odore vuole essere riprodotto ciò può avvenire o per ricostruzione chimica, o per utilizzo di fiori che hanno sfaccettature fruttate nelle loro note. Questo è stato per esempio il caso di Houbigant, che ha utilizzato nella formulazione di Quelques Fleurs Royale l'osmanto, un piccolo fiore giapponese, con deliziose sfumature di albicocca.
